Hargreaves Land has appointed the Chelmsford office of International Real Estate specialist Savills to market a 5-acre site in Halstead.
A residential opportunity has come to the market in Essex which could lead to the development of up to 70 new homes.
Hargreaves Land submitted a planning application to Braintree District Council for outline permission to develop 70 new homes on the site in 2018.
The proposals, designed by architects O’Neil Homer, set out a mix of dwelling types which include homes and apartments from 2-4 bedrooms. A new footbridge will give access to an open space alongside the brook, which will include a play area for toddlers and younger children.
Commenting on the agent’s appointment, Lee Weatherall, Planning and Development Manager at Hargreaves Land, said: “We are delighted to be working with Savills to bring what is an exciting residential development opportunity to the market.
“This is a very well located site which is screened from the open countryside by its topography, landscaped boundaries and adjoining development.”
