One of the UK’s largest kitchen manufacturers & retailers has committed its future to Broken Cross Business Park in South Lanarkshire after signing a new 7-year lease with Hargreaves Land.
Wren Kitchens, who originally moved to the business park in 2018, utilise the site as a logistics distribution facility to service their customers and outlets across Scotland.
Andy Johnson, head of asset management at Hargreaves Land said: “We are delighted to see Wren Kitchens make this long-term commitment to this site and look forward to developing our relationship with them in the years ahead.
“Broken Cross has provided us with opportunities to regularly adapt to satisfy Wren’s operational requirements. When they first took occupation in 2018, their demise extended to just over an acre of hardstanding. Three years on and that figure has doubled whilst they have also taken 2,000 sq ft of office accommodation plus over 5,000 sq ft of industrial warehouse accommodation.”
Lee Holmes, logistics director at Wren said: “The location continues to work really well for us and provides an ideal distribution location with excellent road links to both the north and south via the M74.”
