Our numerous housing projects throughout the UK stem from the remediation of brownfield sites.
We have significant expertise in transforming brownfield sites into development-ready platforms for housebuilders. Our team works with Local Authorities, professional teams and other key stakeholders to develop an appropriate masterplan for each location, taking into consideration community requirements and environmental factors.
We have the capability to undertake the full remediation of former industrial sites as well as designing and delivering the necessary infrastructure and services. We work with independent and national housebuilders to dispose of land with residential planning consent to facilitate the development of new homes which are harmonious with their surroundings.
Our Blindwells development is located in East Lothian, Scotland, between the A1 and the Firth of Forth. This former surface coal mine is currently being remediated and we have successfully secured planning consent for 1,600 homes, with the potential for up to 3,200 homes over the next 15 years. The development offers housebuilders the opportunity to buy fully serviced plots to provide new housing within this popular area of Scotland, close to the capital, Edinburgh.
In South Yorkshire, we are working with joint venture partner Waystone to deliver over 3,000 new homes at Unity, a major new mixed-use scheme which will incorporate an offline marina, school, transport hub & 2 million sq.ft of employment space.
Other residential sites include Halstead, Essex.
