Architect is happy to call Blindwells home

James Fraser of EMA Architecture + Design has played a key role in the evolution of our Blindwells development over the past 10 years and we are pleased to announce that he has taken his dedication to the scheme to new levels in recent months.

As the architect responsible for designing Blindwells, James has helped shape the flourishing community which he and his family are now proudly part of, having recently moved into one of newly developed Bellway homes.

The Fraser family, who moved locally from Tranent know the local area well and James believes that Blindwells provides a great location for his family. James said: “We chose Blindwells because I’m aware of the long-term aspirations for the development and know it will be a great place for my family to live. I’m currently helping develop the design for the new local centre, so can see first-hand the excellent local facilities that will be provided, along with the time and effort being put in by the wider Hargreaves Land team to deliver a successful new community.

“We like the close proximity to existing schools for our children and good access to both Edinburgh and surrounding established towns in East Lothian.”

Thanks to the significant progress made by Bellway Homes, Cruden Group and Persimmon Homes over the past 12 months there are now over 115 homes occupied at Blindwells and many more new homes due to be delivered in 2023, with Ogilivie Group also on site.
